Urea Fertiliser with NBPT and NPPT Technology

Patented urease inhibitor with two active ingredients: NBPT and NPPT
The combination of two active ingredients (NBPT and NPPT) makes STABUR® and especially effective compared to conventional urease inhibitors. When Urea fertiliser is applied it must be converted from carbamide nitrogen to ammonium and nitrate nitrogen. During this conversion process some nitrogen can be lost to the atmosphere in the form of gaseous ammonia, which can be both harmful to the environment and reduce nitrogen efficiency. This process is made more efficient with STABUR®: the two active ingredients NBPT and NPPT work in partnership to slow down the conversion and make more nitrogen available for the plant in the form of ammonium and nitrate.

The reduced nitrogen losses increase the nitrogen uptake of plants and improve the yield compared to urea without urease inhibitor.
Increased performance
Tests conducted in Germany compared STABUR® with urea, conventionally stabilised urea and calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN). The test results illustrate the positive yield performance of STABUR® compared to other nitrogen fertilisers.
