Stabur - Urea Fertiliser with Limus Technology

Glasson Fertilisers is pleased to introduce Stabur© to the UK market. New Government legislation in England means that any fertiliser containing Urea must be coated with a urease inhibitor when spread after 1st April. Stabur from Glasson Fertilisers helps UK farmers to comply with the new regulations, reduce Ammonia emissions to the environment, and offer an efficient return on investment.

 Maximum Nitrogen Efficiency through Stabur

  • Patented urease inhibitor with two active ingredients: NBPT and NPPT

The combination of two active ingredients (NBPT and NPPT) makes STABUR® and especially effective compared to conventional urease inhibitors. When Urea fertiliser is applied it must be converted from carbamide nitrogen to ammonium and nitrate nitrogen. During this conversion process some nitrogen can be lost to the atmosphere in the form of gaseous ammonia, which can be both harmful to the environment and reduce nitrogen efficiency. This process is made more efficient with STABUR®: the two active ingredients NBPT and  NPPT work in partnership to slow down the conversion and make  more nitrogen available for the plant in the  form of ammonium and nitrate.

  • Reduces ammonia losses up to 98%

The reduced nitrogen losses through Limus® Orange increase the nitrogen uptake of plants and improve the yield compared to urea without urease inhibitor.

  • Increased performance

Tests conducted by BASF  compared STABUR® with urea, conventionally stabilised urea and calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN). The test results illustrate the positive yield performance of STABUR® compared to other nitrogen fertilisers.

  • Higher flexibility and safety during fertilizer application

The use of STABUR® significantly increases the window for optimal application compared with other Urea-based fertilisers. Even in long dry periods or high temperatures, you lower the risks of ammonia losses.

  • Manufacturer’s warranty up to 12 months of shelf life

Glasson Fertilisers is the only UK supplier to offer a 12 month shelf life from date of manufacture on the efficacy of coated Urea, so you can be sure of peace of mind that what you pay for is what you’ll get.
